No Binding. Condizione: Good. Jail Mail Archive, (60+) Letters++++ c2009-2011. -- CALIFORNIA JAIL MAIL COLLECTION-- (60+) Letters, Birthday Cards, Prison Documents, Photographs, Children's Drawings -- mailed in California to 'TA-TA B---', a 30-year-old African American woman, in state prison in California for robbery (names are obscured). California Jail Mail Collection-- (60+) drawings, letters and documents date from 2009 to 2011-- life for Ta-Ta was circumscribed by the legal system and jail. the men in her life-- her baby daddy and another longtime boyfriend, her father-- are all in prison and they compete for her attention. Overall, cards & letters to Ta-Ta from friends and family show she has their love and support. Grandma tells Ta-Ta to take it day-by-day, to behave herself-- her young son D'Shawnna pleads with her ".do not start stuff.". People write about their lives in these letters-- they also lecture Ta-Ta to control her anger-- Ta-Ta's mom, in her 60s, balances caring for her grand-baby, Blessing, with her financial stress being unemployed, and trying to keep her car running. Tensions exist between Ta-Ta and her sister, who's caring for Ta-Ta's son, D'Shawanna. Ta-Ta's legal problems continued after release from prison-- later she was convicted of lewd & lascivious behavior with a 14-year-old and served an additional year in lock up. California Jail Mail Cache-- in very nice condition.
