La escena tomada por Duchamp era muy pequeña, y al agradarla Duchamp, el grano de la imagen se evidencian en modo exagerado, adelantándose de este modo a artistas posteriores que basaron su arte en esta estética como Roy Lichtenstein o Sigmar Polke.
