Copyright page dated only 1971. 383 pages. Former owner Lincoln P. Brower's initials are written in pencil on front free endpaper. Brower was a noteworthy conservationist and butterfly expert. No further markings throughout book, pages are clean and bright. More spots of brown staining along fore edge, does not extend to pages themselves. Binding is tight and secure.
