Aggiungi al carrelloHardback. L. H. Evers, Currawong Publishing Co. Edition: First EditionCondition remarks:Book: Good Jacket: Wear and tearPages: Good Markings: No markingsCondition remarks: Jacket protected by mylar sleeve. Pages clean and bright. Binding tight. Usual aging. Shelf wear. Step into the gripping and volatile atmosphere of post-World… War II military occupation with Pattern Of Conquest, a striking vintage novel by Australian author L. H. Evers. Published as a scarce first edition by the Currawong Publishing Co. of Sydney in 1954, this hardback volume-complete with its original dust jacket-is a vital and highly collectible piece of mid-century Australian fiction. The narrative provides a raw, atmospheric snapshot of society and culture under the shadow of global conflict, diving deeply into military history and the psychological landscape of wartime aftermath. Melding elements of high-stakes adventure fiction with profound historical realism, the plot follows its characters through the complex moral dilemmas and harsh realities of an occupying force trying to establish order in a shattered world. This vintage copy is exceptionally well-preserved, featuring an unmarked interior and good page condition, housed in its original dust jacket that shows classic, time-matured wear and tear. For collectors of scarce 1950s Australiana, military fiction, and foundational post-war literature, this beautifully preserved volume stands as a powerful and enduring addition to any historical collection. Hardback.
