A very good copy of the presumed first UK hard cover edition (no explicit edition or printing statement) in a like (not price-clipped) dust-jacket. Previous owner's name modestly in ink to front endpaper, else the text is wholly unmarked, pristine, and the binding and jacket are bright and fresh in appearance, with moderate wear at the extremities, and an abrasion to the base of the spine of the jacket. A sharp copy.
