Deutscher Kupferstecher und Radierer. Sohn des Kupferstechers Georg Gottfried Langer. Ab 1839 Studium an der Dresdner Akademie. Wurde durch Stichreproduktionen bekannt u.a. die Nibelungen-Friese nach Schnorr von Carolsfeld, Werke nach Raffael und Dürer. Thieme-Becker erwähnt vier Serien radierter Landschaften der Umgegend Dresdens (um 1870-75) mit ebenso charmanten wie seltenen Ansichten v.a. aus dem grafisch-topografisch wenig erschlossenen Gebiet zwischen Dresden und Meißen inklusive der sog. linkselbischen Täler.Publio de Tommasi (1848 Rom - 1914 Rom). Italienischer Maler. Studium an der Kunstakademie in Rom. Bevorzugte Genremotive, oftmals römische Straßenszenen, in Öl und Aquarell. In der Platte rechts unten gestochene Signatur: Th. Langer. rad.
