There is some creasing and slight fraying at the base of the spine and some discolouration and denting to the bottom edge of the boards. Light browning to the page edges with a little dark marking to the bottom corners. The front free endpaper has the smudged name of the original owner along with a date and a reference number - this was Jimmy Altham, a Life Fellow of Gonville & Caius College, and a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. The pages are slightly browned but otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a few small tears and a little chipping at the top and bottom of the spine. Browning to the rear panel with a three inch closed tear to the bottom left corner. There is also some edge rubbing, a little chipping to the corners and an ink mark at the top of the front flap. First printing. Heavy item so there will be an additional postage charge for overseas orders.
