Originally published in 1954, this book is part of the second Picture Cover series from the 1960s, in the original Blue spine format, not the later Gold spine edition (see our listing #019834 for a copy of that edition), with decorative paper over boards, in 208 pages with a plain frontispiece, endpapers, & internal drawings by illustrator Graham Kaye. It is a later printing, listing to book #18 in both front matter & on back cover. Condition is just Good: generally very clean, binding straight & strong, hinges intact, pages creamy white with very mild tanning/dust dulling to outside edges. Former owner's name in pen on second free endpaper, else unmarked. Heavy rubbing to extremities, especially at both ends of spine & all corners. NO DJ, as issued.
