Pages slightly yellowed with age, otherwise well-preserved. ¶ Notes: Berthelot's 'Traité de la navigation', published in 1701 in Marseille, is a significant work in the history of maritime literature, reflecting the practical and theoretical advancements in navigation during the late 17th and early 18th centuries. As a Marseille-based cartographer, hydrographer, and professor, Berthelot drew on his extensive knowledge of the Mediterranean to produce this treatise. ¶.
