Near fine with two vertical creases and Typed Letter Signed on the verso from Meritt Clifton, California poet, editor of *Samizdat*, and self-described Gandhian anarchist. Backwards's *Twisted Images*, published between 1982-1994 in various formats, showcased his outrageously satiric cartoons alongside articles and interviews with writers and punk bands. He burned out and began living on the streets in 1994 but resurfaced in 2001 to publish the book, *Surviving on the Street: How to Go Down Without Going Out*.
