Dodd, New York/Crocker and Brewster, Boston, 1849; 600 p., not ex-lib., no former owner's name but quite foxed with extensive though faint staining at upper edges of t.p., lessening to p. 40, where it disappears; front gutter is cracked but binding is firm; beautifully tooled leather boards have moderate sucffing and bumping, some crackling along spine but gilt lettering on black patch on spine is clear and still bright; insert "lyste" of songs performed at a concert, dated 1773 but probably a facsimile.
