Author Eric Jones-Evans copy with c. 15-20 pages of notes and scene synopses of his towards a dramatisation of the work. Jones-Evans was a noted dramatist frequently adapting the works of Victorian novelists (most commonly Dickens) for the stage. Very good copy in the original gilt-blocked cloth. Spine bands and panel edges somewhat rubbed and dust-toned as with age.
