Woodend Bookshop is both a bricks and mortar and online bookstore in the attractive township of Woodend in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in Victoria. The original owners put the words "quality secondhand books" on the sign and the shop, ever since, has looked to provide discerning readers with attractive options. There is a wide range in the shop, with strengths in children's literature, biography, military, general fiction, plays, religion, crime fiction and local history. While the shop caters for the locals and day-trippers from Melbourne with cheap prices, a second collection of rare, interesting and valuable books is placed online. A good range of topic areas features old, signed and rare editions, high quality art books, significant authors, local histories and limited printings. Staff are knowledgable and your inquiries are welcome.
