Her thirty-year career has included work as a first-grade teacher, a reading specialist, a reading and language arts supervisor, and a literacy consultant. She values the voices of real teachers at all levels.For twenty-seven years, ROBERTA ANN MCMANUS has taught middle school science, infusing it with reading and writing strategies.
