Paperback. Condizione: Very Good. Clean nicely bound copy. tiny mark on the front cover and a very small amount of underlining inside. Secure boxed packaging! "This set of papers, and the accompnaying discussions, are inteded as a source of reference for ergonomics research workers, and practitioners, and as a textbook for students. Estaqblished and more recent published work is reviewed, and some of the papers themselves provide the first integrated discussion of specialised techniques. It is especially welcome that this is the first book to present a wide range of European ergonomics work, coimbined with some authoritative contributions from the USA. The book has a tripartite structure. The section on man discusses concepts of human functionand behaviour, or, more succinctly, "descriptors" of man which are important for man-machine systems. The techniques sectkion reviews the definition and acquisition of measurements related such descriptors. The section on applications assesses the feasibility and utility of several of these approaches in certain areas of practical interest. There are specific discussions within each section, and some more general evaluations in the final pages of the book." c4. Book. Codice articolo 4709
