Udo Pollmer, geboren 1954, gilt als Deutschlands renommiertester und streitbarster Ernährungsspezialist. Seit 1995 ist er wissenschaftlicher Leiter des Europäischen Instituts für Lebensmittel- und Ernährungswissenschaften und veröffentlichte die Bestseller »Lexikon der Ernährungsirrtümer«, »Lexikon der Fitneß-Irrtümer«, »Eßt endlich normal« und »Pillen, Pulver, Powerstoffe«. Er lebt bei Heilbronn.
