These empirical studies should be useful to researchers as well as professionals in the field of image processing and can find many applications and stimulate further research in the field of image processing and mathematical morphology.

Dr M. Rama Bai received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engg from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, India in 2012. Presently she is working as Professor at Mahatma Gandhi Institure of Technology, Hyderabad, India. She has published 20 research publications in various National and International Journals and conferences.
