Sinossi

This thesis examines the effects of preferential trade agreements (PTAs) on developing country use of antidumping (AD). The study applies the methodology used in Prusa and Teh’s (2010) “Protection Reduction and Diversion: Preferential Trade Agreements and the Incidence of Antidumping Disputes” and extends it to include data from 2003-2010 and to focus on Latin American countries. I use data from the World Bank Temporary Trade Barriers Database.
