The work reconstructs on the basis of the analysis of the otolith growth, the time-periods and the length of the most important life stages of the species. The diural increments, visible in otoliths, this work documents adequate and independently makes up the unique scanning photo of observed microstructure of the most fragile otoliths, that can be used for farther investigations of little recognized of the biology of the icefish.
