The author, after lost his better half, wanted to give a tribute in her memory, put his pen in the form of this work. In this effort he tried to compile all relevant portions from various works to explain the underlying ideas of Rasa Shastra materials. Thus the book mostly covered all, apart from synonyms, types, ideal characters, Shodhana, Marana and other relevant portions from different literature, matters like geographical distribution, scientific parlance, historical importance, pharmacological, pharmaceutical and forensic toxicological points. …
