Shepherd. The articles have been collected and bound together by a previous owner with hand written bound title pages and contents pages. The sections of the articles are Animal Actualities, On Show, Fables and Miscellaneous articles. All the articles feature the illustrations of J.A. Shepherd.With twenty animal actualities articles. With Seven On Show articles. With twenty three Fables and with fifteen miscellaneous articles all illustrated by J. A. Shepherd.J. A. Shepherd was an English illustrator and cartoonist known for his animal drawings with most of his works signed J.A.S as they are within the magazine.With in-text illustrations. Re-bound in full cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with some fading to the boards and spine and some light marks to the boards. Internally, some of the pages are loosening from the binding. Pages remain bright and clean. Good.
