Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in slight loss to calf. slight rubbing to boards with the odd scratch to calf, more so to rear board. Spine rubbed. Slight tide marking to fore edges of frontispiece, not affecting the portrait. Internally, firmly bound. Hinges slightly strained in places, but firm. Pages generally bright and clean with the odd light spot and minor handling mark to fore edge, and notably to the title page.
