ALL UK PARCELS SENT TRACKED! ALL OVERSEAS PARCELS SENT AIRMAIL, TRACKED! (S/hand, Hardcover, 1893). 1893-1906 Large Paper Editions. 12 volumes. Large 8vo (150mm x 240mm). Quarter vellum over light blue cloth boards, spines titled in gilt, gilt rules, deckle edges. Large paper edition, limited to 157 numbered copies, printed on handmade paper. All copies show slight wear or bumped corners & darkening of spines, light tanning, mostly of end-papers. Generally a very nice set, all numbered #133 except The Fox , #47 and Wild Fowl, #22. This issue was limited to 157 copies. Occasional unopened pages. This series of monographs by the most experienced sportsmen of the day are still of immense value as the most detailed and comprehensive works ever published on British game species. Titles are: The Red Deer; Snipe and Woodcock; The Rabbit; The Hare; The Pheasant; The Trout; Pike and Perch; The Salmon; The Grouse; The Partridge; Wildfowl. . Codice articolo 57611
