Neuware - 'Foreign Intervention in the Rio De La Plata 1838-50' provides a comprehensive historical analysis of the complex diplomatic and military struggles involving Great Britain, France, and the nations of the River Plate region during the mid-19th century. John F. Cady examines the motivations and consequences of European interference in South American affairs, specifically focusing on the pivotal years between 1838 and 1850.The work delves into the prolonged blockade of Buenos Aires by French and British naval forces and the intense diplomatic maneuvering surrounding the administration of Juan Manuel de Rosas.
