Complete set, in 7 volumes. Books measure 26x17.5.cm. Circa 5,500 pages, 84 full page steel engravings, 41 maps or plans, some coloured, some more than one image per page. Bound in original publishers full gilt and blind stamped leather, raised bands, elaborate gilt tooling, gilt lines, full marble erdges, marble endpapers. Calf lightly rubbed on edges and corners, some abrasion wear, occasional minor knock, slight lean on spines, some boards with light white fleck/splash? Generally alll bindings in very good clean firm condition. Internally, pages and plates clean throughout. A very nice set, in very attractive period bindings. Size: Large 8 Vo.
