An American publication, using detailed photographs and explanations to help identify raptors in flight. The book makes use of different angles - head-on, wing-on, tail-on - as well as the traditional "from below", and realises the necessity of using clues such as wing shape, wing posture, tail shape and proportions, and wing beats. As well as a section on how to use the guide, chapters include: Accipiters; Northern harrier; Buteos; Falcons; Vultures, ospreys, eagles. This book made me want to run outside and look skywards, to test out my new-found knowledge in raptor identification. .

Effetti del recesso
