Large, hand-coloured, folding map of the environs of London laid on to linen, 30 x 20 inches, extending from West Wickham and Farnham Common in the west, to Chelmsford and Maidstone in the east, and showing the railway lines in and around the capital. Bound in the original embossed blue cloth hard cover, with gilt title to upper board, approx. 4 x 7 inches. Lacking the 36 pp. guide, the first and last pages of which remain tipped in to the inside upper board. The map is clean and well-preserved.

As well as rare antiquarian books, maps and prints, the stock includes a wide range of literature, library sets, travel, history and illustrated books in all fields. We also offer a bookbinding and restoration service. Visitors to the shop are welcome and we exhibit at UK book fairs.
