The text commences with a portrait frontispiece then title page. Pages 1-240 but 141-4 are used twice. There are an additional 16 bw plates. (Not known if they are complete since there is no list). Ink note on page 112. Fairly clean tight text but with some fairly noticeable spotting in places. In a likely contemporary half leather and marbled boards binding. Spine decorated in gold with a burgundy title label stating simply TIM BOBBIN. Spine presents very well.
