Condition Report Externally Spine good condition faded to brown from the original green morocco, gilt titles and decoration, rubbed and worn with some marks and small areas of damage. Joints good condition sound, rubbed and worn. Corners good condition gently bumped and worn. Boards good condition half morocco with cloth covered boards, marks and minor wear. Page edges good condition top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed and tanned. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition sound. Paste downs good condition marbled, bookplate to the front. End papers good condition marbled, subsequently foxed and tanned to front and rear. Title good condition. Pages good condition minor tanning, otherwise bright with attractive colour illustrations.
