Poster, 280 x 215 mm. old central horizontal fold. Douglas Adams "Shows off his new book "The Long Dark Tea-Tome of the Soul" & has an informal meeting with his readers at Dark Carnival." in February 1989. Originally programmed to appear at Cody's Books in San Francisco, the event was moved at very short notice AS the radical store was firebombed due to a display of Salman Rushdie's Satanic Verses. This hastily produced and probably photocopied poster is inscribed by Adams "To Murphy, Douglas Adams." It is unlikely that may others survive.
