Alexander Burak is Assistant Professor of Russian Studies in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Florida, Gainesville, USA. He is a graduate of the Translators’ and Interpreter’s Department of the Moscow State Linguistic University and has a PhD in sociology from Moscow State University.
