First Arthur Rackham illustrated edition. Bound in the publisher's original green buckram with gilt decorative front board and spine. Some wear along the front joint and spine ends, the boards bright if a touch bowed. A few spots to the fore edge. Neat ownership bookplate to the front pastedown, small split to the front hinge. Some spotting to prelims and throughout. Plate IV through page 14 loose but present. Illustrated with twenty-four tipped-in colour plates, each complete with titled tissue-guard. A smart example.
