Published in 1948, this is the First Edition of this account of the authors travels round Shropshire, taking in The Wrekin, Haughmond, Pointon, Shawbury, Osbaston, Crudgington, Lilleshall, Newport, Edgmond, Tibberton, Cherrington, Muckleton, Ellerdine Heath, Cold Hatton, and much more, with illustrations, this example retains the rarely seen dustwrapper, the wrapper has some noticeable areas of loss now housed in a removable protective sleeve, some faded spots at top of books cover where the missing pieces of the dustjacket have allowed the light to get to the cloth, internally old ownership name to front endpaper, some noticeable foxing marks on and off throughout else in good general condition.
