A collection of writing on the islands of Ischia and Ponza, off the Italian coast. With details from the records of many trips spent in the areas. Written by George Norman Douglas, a British writer and novelist whose travel books are appreciated for the quality of their writing. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping to the extremities and minor fading to the spine. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light shelf wear and chipping to the extremities, with minor loss to the spine. Internally, firmly bound.
