Aggiungi al carrelloFolio ( 29.3 x 36.5 cm). Pp. 208. Richly illustrated with photos by Hans Hammarskiöld, Magnus Wibom and Lüfti Özkök. Printed on newsprint. Parallel text in Swedish and English. Stapled in original folded pictorial covers (unfold to display large images). This is the documentation of the famous and controversial exhibition "HON - En katedral" at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm in 1966. It contains the pre-history, the construction diary, the exhibition and the demolition of the sculpture Hon. It also contains information about the exhibition and references to media in Sweden and abroad. The exhibition "HON - En katedral" was created by Niki de Saint Phalle, Jean Tinguley, Per Olof Ultvedt and Pontus Hultén. It featured a gigantic sculpture of a reclining woman, with her "vagina" as an entrance to explore various experiences inside. The exhibition came about in a relatively short time and therefore there was little time for publication of a catalogue, a newspaper brochure was first issued (see next item). Pontus Hultén (1924-2006), reclaimed art collector and pioneering former director of the Moderna Museet in Stockholm. Extremely rare in this condition.
