L'ouvrage est écrit par Patrick Facon: docteur en histoire, René Grimaud: historienne, François Pernot: Maître de conférence en histoire moderne. Ce livre très bien écrit est nullement ennuyeux et à la portée de tous. Vous y découvrirez l'homme hors du commun qu'à été Napoléon avec ses qualités et ses défauts.Sa vie de sa naissance à sa mort. Vous y découvrirez les membres de sa famille, les femmes importantes dans sa vie ainsi que les personnes qui ont été dans son intimité.
