Ex library with no external markings blind stamp "Notre Dame of Maryland College Library Baltimore" on title page, an ink number at the bottom of the page with the letter of Transmital. No other marks noted and the volume is fine otherwise except for minor wear on three corners exposing some cardboard under the leather.

There is no chipping. [Schmeckebier p. 42] Short description of the activity of work in 1876 to 1878 by Gilbert, Dutton, Hillers, Graves, Thompson, Renshawe and by topic including the Black Hills survey by Jenney. Extremely rare, particularly in this conditio.
