Exterior shows scuffing and soiling and exterior spine hinge has several chips and small tears at the front and rear boards edges and corners also show bumps and wear. This publication was originally finalized three volumes, each volume contains separate parts. This is only one of the books which is volume three, part one. The internal hinges are good at the boards but it is breaking loose at the second front end page. Paper is toned due to age and there is some light foxing and spotting present. The front pastedown and end page both have personal name stamps, one of which reads "Private Library J.B. Hanford" and the second (which is stamped twice) reads "From A. W. Smiley". No other markings or found in the book, no handwriting, no library stamps. This particular volume has the page numbering system starting at 1629 and ends at 2152 for total of 523 pages.…
