[no place, no publisher], 1800, first edition, clxxxi pages, some waterstaining on first pages, attractive half leather binding, gilt lettering in spine, back scrubbed, notes intended to improve the life, conduct and thoughts of officers written by admiral Jan Hendrik van Kinsbergen (1 May 1735 - 24 May 1819), or Count of Doggersbank, was a Dutch naval officer. Willem Bilderdijk would write a reply on this book in 1811. Scarce.…
