Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Die Veranlassung dieser neuen Ausgabe der niederländischen Seerechte ist die folgende. Als ich vor mehreren Jahren behufs rechtshistorischer Forschungen die einst so mächtige, jetzt so heruntergekommene, Hauptstadt der alten Friesen, Staveren 1) b…esuchte, fand ich im Rathause eine nicht im Archiv-Inventar ver zeichnete Handschrift, welche u. a. den Text der Wasserrechte , die hier früher gegolten hatten, enthielt. Schon bei der Vergleichung mit den bekanntesten Aus gaben dieser Seerechtsquellen schien mir derselbe von besbnderer Art zu sein. Nicht nur fand ich in dem sog. vlämischen Seerechte, von zwei Artikeln, welche in fast allen bekannten Handschriften verdorben sind, eine bessere Lesart, auch der Text der anderen Sammlung von Seerechtsbestimmungen , der sog. Ordinancie, wich dann und wann nicht unerheblich von der gewöhnlichen Lesung ab. Ich wusste diese Tatsache damals nicht genügend zu erklären; der neu gefundene Text stand, wie ich meinte, vereinzelt da. Vor ein Paar Jahren aber machte der bekannte Herausgeber Hansischer Geschichtsquellen Dr. WALTHER STEIN, jetzt Professor an der Universität Göttingen , mich auf eine alte Handschrift im Stadtarchiv zu Köln aufmerksam. Ich verglich auf einer Durchreise dieselbe mit einer Abschrift meines Staverschen Manuscripts und fand eine merkwürdige Ueber einstimmung zwischen den beiden Texten. Die Kölnische Handschrift war, wie ich erfuhr, das längere Zeit für verschollen gehaltene doch im Jahre 1882 vom damaligen Archivar Dr. KONSTANTIN HÖHLBAUM wiedergefundene Manuscript dessen Text für die offizielle Lesung des alten Brügger Hansekontors galt. Ordinancie, wich dann und wann nicht unerheblich von der gewöhnlichen Lesung ab. Ich wusste diese Tatsache damals nicht genügend zu erklären; der neu gefundene Text stand, wie ich meinte, vereinzelt da. Vor ein Paar Jahren aber machte der bekannte Herausgeber Hansischer Geschichtsquellen Dr. WALTHER STEIN, jetzt Professor an der Universität Göttingen , mich auf eine alte Handschrift im Stadtarchiv zu Köln aufmerksam. Ich verglich auf einer Durchreise dieselbe mit einer Abschrift meines Staverschen Manuscripts und fand eine merkwürdige Ueber einstimmung zwischen den beiden Texten. Die Kölnische Handschrift war, wie ich erfuhr, das längere Zeit für verschollen gehaltene doch im Jahre 1882 vom damaligen Archivar Dr. KONSTANTIN HÖHLBAUM wiedergefundene Manuscript dessen Text für die offizielle Lesung des alten Brügger Hansekontors galt.
