Wittemann, New York, c.1880'sJourney back in time to the early days of tourism at the Historic American/ Canadian Niagara Falls International Park is a rare look at a bygone era. The book was copyrighted by Adolph Wittemann in 1880's and was printed and hand assembled by the Albertype Company in NY. Each of the collotypes in the book measure approximately 8 1/4" by 6 1/4". This oblong quarto book measures 12 3/4" x 10 1/4" and is bound in a hand sewn card stock paper cover.Condition: some edge wear, tears, creases and marks to cover. Part of the tie-binding has become loose but should be able to fix quite easily. Foxing to pages with some edge wear, tears and stain marks in places. One plate loose. A nice, rare item.Shipped from the UK.
