Many yet untold episodes from the discussions and negotiations with the major airframe and engine manufacturers reveal some interesting background why some aircraft were selected and some others not. SAS and the development people at the airline have over time also influenced the aviation industry which this book also has documented. The book was originally published in Swedish as the Swedish Aviation Historical Society 2014 Yearbook and was in 2015 awarded the Aviation book of the year in Sweden.
