The Book is based on a cross-sectional study to determine the patient's satisfaction-dissatisfaction of regarding health care service provided by EGH ED.Seventy three percent of patients were satisfied with overall emergency care, the highest rates were observed in nursing care (83.1%). This book indicated the need for evidence-based interventions in emergency care services in areas such as medical care, nursing care, courtesy of staff, physical comfort and waiting time. 112 pp. Englisch.

The Book based on retrospective, hospital base a case control study to identify risk factors of End Stage Renal Failure among Palestinian population. The most common risk factors were hypertension, diabetes mellitus, kidney stones, glomerulonephritis, obesity, low activity level, anxiety, smoking, analgesic drug, low income, and family history of chronic diseases. The findings showed most if not all of the identified risk factors could be preventable. These results may highlight the issue as a public in nature that need community-based intervention programs integrated with health promotion programs. 144 pp. Englisch.
