Strasbourg, 1552), was a notable Protestant humanist, known primarily for his Spanish version of the New Testament (1543). Thus, during his stay as Professor of Greek at Cambridge (1548-1549), he contacted Arnold Birkmann, who showed keen interest in the dissemination of the Spanish book in Europe in the face of its growing demand. In 1550-1552, the last years of his life, Enzinas settled with his family in Strabus.
