In this research, 2 years old trees of five apple cultivars include Golab-kohans (as a local cultivar), and four foreign cultivars include Gala , Starking, Delbar estival and Fuji grafted onto M9 rootstock, were used in order to evaluate of some qualitative and quantitative characteristics of them on Guttingen V intensive planting system. Results showed that intensive training systems can be introduced in Iran s climate for reducing the costs and increase the production. Delbar estival can be suggested to Iranian gardeners as a promising cultivar adapted to Guttingen V system in Iran.
