Die Simulation dient dazu, den optimierten Ausloesezeitpunkt fuer die zweite Stufe zu ermitteln. Es wurde ein experimenteller, tragbarer Hardware-Prototyp eines ein- und zweistufigen, kondensatorgetriebenen Puls-EMP-Systems entwickelt. Der Versuchsaufbau dient der Validierung der Simulationsergebnisse, der Optimierung der Systemdesignparameter und der Ermittlung des optimalen Ausloesezeitpunkts fuer die zweite Stufe.
