(xxii) + 424pp. Spine faded, lightly rubbed at ends and with title label apparently 'refreshed' with gold and black pens; inner hinges repaired in a couple of places with white adhesive tape; a little minor foxing on endpapers and first and last few leaves; internal text clean and bright throughout. Red and gold applied head bands xxvi + 426pp. Collection of misc. prose writings by Lamb first published in this edition by Macmillan in 1883. Introduction and extensive notes by Alfred Ainger. The copy offered by us is a 1903 reprint in a school prize binding with the crest of Haileybury College to front panel. VG ( Light shelf rubbing to extremities with minor scuffs. College prize book plate to front paste down. Light foxing to end blanks.
