This book examines the operational capability of the Chinese Air Force, and the threat this capability poses to China's neighbours, and to India. The book traces the development of the People's Liberation Army Air Force into a striking arm. Chinese nuclear capability, exploitation of Tibet, the present aircraft inventory, the aircraft industry, the training methods and the operational capability are all analysed. The role Chinese intelligence agencies play, is examined. The author then goes on to discuss the threat and the strategies for India to counter this.
