This book tried to address the detergent stress induced lipid peroxidation and changes in antioxidant enzymes in Anabas testudineus (Bloch, 1792) under laboratory conditions. The results showed significant increase with malondialdehyde content and enzymatic antioxidants like catalase, glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase. The study also revealed the water quality deterioration under stress condition.
