This particular study involved PVA of varying concentrations, UV curing varnish as well as Nylon 6/6. Another section of this book covers the surface morphology of photo aligned samples. In this study, time duration of TRANS and CIS isomerization for different samples were measured. The studies in this book also search for the ideal time exposure for photo alignment either by LPUVL or by white light. These samples were also in dye doped substrate sample coated cells. Finally the finding of these experiments brought the author to the conclusion that photo induced alignment was better than rubbing and further that dyed doped substrate coated sample cell technique was a good attempt to observe the photorefractivity. 256 pp. Englisch.…
